Abstract
This article presents a scientific analysis of the role of psychological factors in the formation of safety culture within occupational safety systems. The relevance of the study is determined by the fact that most workplace accidents in modern production environments are associated with the human factor, including employees’ psychological condition, motivation, and behavior. The paper examines the concept of safety culture, its structural components, and the influence of psychological factors such as stress, fatigue, motivation levels, and the socio-psychological climate of the workforce on occupational safety through a comprehensive approach. The research employed methods of system analysis, comparison, observation, and statistical data processing. The findings indicate that creating a favorable psychological environment, improving motivation systems, and fostering safe behavior among employees contribute significantly to reducing occupational injuries. Practical recommendations for enhancing the level of safety culture are also proposed.
